How APEWATCH works
The path from a posted token to a public call and a reward-ledger entry.
Step 1 — Discover
Ape or Not lists tokens people posted. Most APE, Most NOT, and New change the order. The time window filters which public votes count. Screenshots of this board are not embedded here because a static capture would go stale. Open /terminal to see the live board.
Step 2 — Analyze
Selecting a token opens price, market cap, liquidity, volume, and holders when the provider sent them. The chart uses the connected candle feed. Market-cap history is not connected, so that control stays disabled. Missing numbers stay missing.
Step 3 — Follow tracked wallets
Whale Activity lists stored whale events for the token. A wallet whose source or label contains “smart” is labeled smart money. Other tracked wallets stay whales. If the database has no rows, the list is empty. Live trades need a Helius key. Without it the trade list stays empty.
Step 4 — Make your call
APE and NOT on the token rail are public votes. One current opinion per account and token. Publishing a call asks for a signed session and a written explanation. The community label on a call remains an unscored opinion until an approved evaluation policy exists. The reward worker can still record prices and later write a 24-hour check.
Step 5 — Reputation
Reputation in the reward engine stays 0 and provisional until five complete 24-hour checks exist. Posting volume does not raise that score. The public methodology page still marks the ranking policy as not approved. The leaderboard reads the engine scores that are stored.
Step 6 — XP and BANZ
Default rules can award XP for a completed profile, a verified wallet, and a published call, with daily caps. BANZ for a verified result is credited only after the worker records two prices and the path did not fall 50% or more. Cash redemption is not currently available.
